Moving along life’s road, someone else's experience and directions are often helpful. The visit to a place of peace, where one can relax amidst incredible beauty, often includes a joyous journey. Let the following directions bring you to such a spot.

BY AIR:

You can fly right into Montrose (30 minutes from the Inn by car or taxi). From Thanksgiving till March, direct flights to Montrose are available from Dallas, Chicago, and Houston daily. Other times of year, you will connect onto a small airplane in either Denver, Phoenix, or Salt Lake City into Montrose or Grand Junction (2 hours by car).

BY CAR:

From Denver, go west on Hwy 285 to hwy 50 just west of Salida, and then west to Montrose. From Montrose take Hwy 550 south to Ouray. In the middle of Ouray, on Main Street, turn west on 6th Avenue 2 blocks to Black Bear Manor.

From Colorado Springs, Take Hwy 24 west to Hwy 285 south to Hwy 50. Then go west on Hwy 50 to Montrose, turning south on Hwy 550 to Ouray. Hwy 550 is Main Street in Ouray, so in the middle of town go west on 6th Avenue 2 blocks to Black Bear Manor.

From Albuquerque, go north on I25 to ?, Then northwest to Farmington, NM. Here follow the signs to hwy 550 to Durango and on north to Ouray. In the middle of town, turn west on 6th Avenue, 2 blocks to Black Bear Manor.

From Phoenix and Salt Lake City, we advise using a map or click above to get directions from mapquest.com, as a few different highways will be involved.

However you arrive, your days at Black Bear Manor will be the experience of a lifetime, and probably the first of many.
